New Incandescent Technology

Apparently GE has announced new incandescent technology. It's an interesting announcement after the recent news about CFL Bulbs. I find it curious. Ever hear of GE's electric car? Some new announced ahead of it's time, but then pulled from the market. Time will tell if this project goes anywhere.
